A REVIEW OF 2004 RADIO AND TV DRAMA SERIES AND PSAS (UNFPA, 2005): This is a review of the UNFPA-funded 2004 broadcast media advocating gender equality and male participation. It examines factors of production, critically analyses the media and considers audience feedback to provide recommendations for future productions in the light of the findings. A key finding is:
"While the 2004 TV and radio drama series and PSAs challenge dominant gender differences and roles that run in society to some degree, they may, in other ways, be reinforcing the very attitudes, beliefs and stereotypical media images they set out to counter."
